A beacon of hope.

I have been journeying through the Gospel of John since we have landed in St. Augustine about two months ago.  I have enjoyed my time of study in this book.  Today I wrapped up my study and spent some time reflecting on what all I had read.  Considering the people I have met and the City we have moved to, I can’t help but think of the possibility of life change.  To think that God has some incredible things in store for St. Augustine is an understatement.  When I consider all that Christ has done for us, I am moved by the potential for life change here in my community. The local church is a beacon of hope in our fallen world.  People that I have not even met yet will have an opportunity to hear the life changing message of the Gospel.  This is why we packed everything up and moved here.  I can’t really put a metric on the potential for life change but I do know that it will be significant.  Every single lost soul in this city is up for grabs.  My prayer is that the weight of the Gospel would hit those who do not know Jesus and set up a ripple of life change that continues for years to come. I pray John 21:25 over our city;  That there would be so many things that Jesus does that it would be impossible to document it all.

[Jhn 21:25 NKJV] And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.
