I finally got my hands on one of these guys.  Looking for ways to make steadi-cam shots with out the steadi-cam price has proved to be difficult.  Well thanks to smart folks we have a way to drop our iPhone 4’s into a very versatile/functional steadicam.  Since the iPhone 4 shoots in HD it has been a wish of many users to be able to use a steadicam to capture unique shots.  Up until now, unless you were itching for a challenge to build one yourself your options have been limited.  I present to you a short demo of the Steadicam Smoothie for the iPhone 4.  Overall I was happy with it’s performance.  Since the iPhone has an irregular shape you need to always verify wind conditions prior to shooting outside.  The Steadicam functions in a ‘zero’ wind element way.  You can compensate slightly but anything more than a slight breeze could end your shoot.
