2013 New Hampshire Trip: Day #5

Guest Blogger: Allie
This trip was one if the best experiences of my life. God has definitely taught me a lot in this past week about his love, power, and freedom. Working at Riverbank Church on Sunday was great. It is hard for me to find the words to describe it. It was amazing for me to be
a part of the revival that is taking place in that area. There are only a handful of Christians, and many anti-Christians. Many people don’t want to be a part of anything having to do with church, and that fact was even prevalent to our team who only spent a week there. There is spiritual oppression in the towns, and Christ followers are a minority. However, when doing God’s work by serving people in need, inviting people to church, and telling people about Jesus, I could feel the purpose we all have in life. Because of the fire that the people of Riverbank have started, over 100 people have given their lives to Christ this year alone. It was eye opening to witness the power of the gospel. The church was so alive! God is definitely doing great things in that area, and I am so thankful that I could be a part of it. I am excited to hear about more things that God will do when I go back next year. I know that we made a difference in people’s lives, and they made a difference in ours. I will always remember this trip and how God revealed himself to me, and used me at the same time. I would like to thank everyone reading this for all of the prayers while we were away because they were definitely a necessity. As the next chapter of my life unfolds, I now have no doubt that God will lead me into doing good works for his kingdom.
