The journey begins

I have heard that great steps of faith require great courage. Tonight we announced to the church that my wife and I are actively praying and pursuing the possibility of planting a church. It’s a process we began about a year ago. With the blessing of our elders and staff we decided

to attend an ARC conference (Association of Related Churches). The conference encouraged us to continue walking through the doors that God has opened before us. God opened up another opportunity for me to be a part of a residency program at Fellowship Bible Church (located in Roswell, GA). This residency program has given me and a few other planters an opportunity to learn from many Godly men concerning leadership development and soul care. I am in very thankful for the opportunities the Lord has given me and for my family to grow.

We do not have a time frame or a location for a potential church plant. We are committed to finish the work He has for us at Southbrook Church. When the time comes, we will stand with leadership and begin planning the next steps. We ask that you join us in prayer for the following things.

1. For us to see the open doors, no matter what they may lead to.
2. For us to continue steadfast in faith no matter how difficult.
3. For us to have great courage.

My heart for my family and I is for us to follow the will of God. We are committed to seeking Him. Pray revival in our community now, pray for revival for where God may be preparing to send us to.
