I have spent the past few weeks praying and planning for 2011.  I am so excited about the things we are going to do.  We have an amazing group of students and adult leaders. We have just begun a study of 1 John for our Sunday Night service…I am looking forward to seeing what God does through it.  There is nothing more awesome then just cracking open the Bible and reading God’s word.

FAMILY

Seems like the past month has flown by.  I almost recall setting foot in our new area as if it were yesterday.  Our kids are adjusting well.  They love being outside (their Florida kids)…the only problem is that it’s COLD right now.  So we have sending them out fully bundled up.  Colty is not a big fan of gloves or hats…he has become one :).  Bode has gotten into the habit of getting up at 5 am every morning.  This has been somewhat problematic because I am the usually the one who gets up that early.  To be honest, now that I am a father, I am a fan of daylight savings….just saying.

CHRISTMAS

Christmas is right around the corner and the kids are certain to remind us every day.  They are so excited….I suppose it’s hard not to be when you see a tree, decorations and have so man activities that point to Christmas Day.  This year we will be in NC for our Christmas time and are looking forward to lots of family time.
