This Sunday was very busy. Â Sunday morning Middle School service was cancelled so that the students could attend the main service (dedicated to baptisms). Â It was awesome to see so many people who were willing to be baptized in public. Â Two things that will never get old to me include: People coming to the Lord and then following that up with baptism.
Our High School ministry met and just about completed 1 John Chapter 2 (we stopped on verse 27). Â We focused on deception versus truth and why we need to be focused on things that matter in the eyes of eternity. Â We talked about how as Christians we have this idea that when we pull up to Heaven it will be in a U-haul that is carrying all of our stuff. Â Next week we are diving into Chapter 3 of 1 John…exciting things to come.
